Birchbox July Box - Overview and Mini Review

I  just got my July Birchbox in the mail the other day and thought that I would start a series for the monthly subscriptions that I am subscribed to. So I was thinking that I would just talk a little bit about what products I got in the box and if I've tried them out yet, then I would say what I think about them. So lets get started!

So if you don't know all ready Birchbox is a monthly subscription that cost $10 a month and every month you get sent a box with 4 to 5 deluxe samples, that could be anything from hair care products, make up, skin care products and life style things. Also you take a survive that helps the people at Birchbox to make each box more personal to the wants and needs that you are looking for in each box.

To start off Birchbox teamed up with Glamour magazine to pick out the different products that they end up putting inside the box. So this whole months box was Glamour themed.
So first up inside the box we have Alterna BAMBOO UV+ Color Protection Fade-Proof Fluide. Which is a serum that helps to strengthen dry and damaged hair, add shine, and also protected from the sun. Needless to say I was very excited to see this, since I just ran out of my hair serum that I have been using. I've only tried this out once so far but I can all ready say that I'm really starting to like this product. I find that its not to oily, but still gives my hair shine.
Next up we have Jouer luminizing moisture tint with SPF 20 in the color Golden. I tried this out today and at first I thought that the color was going to be a little dark ( as you can see the the picture below, as its a little yellow on my skin) but blended out it looks very nice on. This is definitely not a full coverage or even a medium coverage foundation. But it does even out skin tone very nicely. I would say that if you have acne scaring, blemishes or, dark under eye circles that you might want to use a concealer with this. The product is oil free and with most products that say that they are oil free I find that after a couple of hours wearing them my nose gets really oil from it. But not with this one I've been wearing it for about 6 hours and I'm oil free!
I also got a Stila Lip Glaze in the color Light. As this is my first Stila Lip Glaze I was very excited to see that I got a full size one in my box.
The color is a light nude, almost clear with silver fine glitter. As for the product is self the gloss is a bit sticky but nothing to bothersome.

Also with this box for the life style part you could get a pair of head phone. That are not the best quality, but they are cute with the blue and pink neon color.
And last for the life style part I got a Larabar. It was good, but only if you like that kind of thing. It's very nutty tasting so if your not a fan of nuts I would skip these types of bars.

Oh and it also had a sample of Oscar de la Renta Live in Love perfume which smelled good but its just not my kind of scent, so I gave it to my mom. That is why there are no pictures of it.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint - Full size $38.00
Stila Lip Glaze in Light - This color comes in a trio on the Birchbox website / trio cost $12.00

Tell me if you like these kind of post. Hope you have a lovely day.
